New York Graph Theory Workshop

The New York Graph Theory Workshop  is an informal and friendly research workshop patterned after the Montreal Graph Theory Workshop

It will be held at the Graduate Center every alternate year, starting with 2024.

Location: The Graduate Center, City University of New York

Directions to the Graduate Center:  The CUNY Graduate Center is located at 365 Fifth Avenue (at the corner of 34th Street and 5th Avenue) in Manhattan. It is across the street from the Empire State Building and can be easily reached by subway using the B,D,F,N,Q,R, or 6 train.  The entrance is on 34th street and the Science Center is on the 4th floor.  You will have to show the guards your driver's license, or some other government issued id to enter the building. In addition to the subway, there are many yellow cabs and Uber that make it very convenient to get around the city. The closest airport is La Guardia. 

Parking near the Graduate Center: The Graduate Center has no parking garage. The nearest public parking garage is on 35th street. Check Spot Hero for several additional parking garages and rates (approximately $20 - $30 if you get there before 9:00 am).

Lodging: 

Manhattan has many hotels and Airbnbs for a variety of budgets. The area around the Graduate Center is known as Midtown.


Hilton Garden Inn New York/Midtown Park Ave (45 E 33rd St, New York, NY 10016). This Hilton is on 33rd street and has a parking garage underneath.

Pod 39 is a 10-minute walk to the Graduate Center and Pod 51 is a 30-minute walk or a 15-minute subway ride.

HI New York City Hostel is a 30-minute subway ride.
